Co*STAR for the Web
Co*STAR for the WEB (CSFTW) is the combination of
two Clearview products; Co*STAR our
flagship product , which is a full featured development tool
for adding a Windows interface to host-based applications,
and our CSWEB product , which provides
a browser based interface to your host application over the
internet or intranet.
With CSFTW you can create graphic user interfaces for your
Enterprise Applications and add additional functionality using
the popular WWW browser interface. For example:
- Create custom WEB pages that link to various hosts and
host applications.
- Automate tasks such as login sequences and menu navigation.
- Administer updates, configurations, and connectivity
from a central location.
- Enhance your host applications with images, video conferencing,
and multi-media, using an open systems architecture.
- Integrate custom applications using Visual Basic and
other tools between the client browser and your host application.
CSFTW is designed to be fully compatible with today's dynamic
browser technology with the goal of ease-of-use and
zero-to-minimal administration requirements. Because
it supports dual interfaces; plug-in and ActiveX technologies,
CSFTW can be used with either Netscape Navigator or Microsoft
Internet Explorer.
